Home learning update

Home learning update   Firstly, thank you  all for reading this blog and getting involved with your child's learning. We recognise that the coming weeks could be stressful for families and urge you all to look after yourself and your families first. In regards to learning at home we the teachers of Clarkville are committed to providing an experience that leaves students uplifted as well as educated. Key Information Term 1 has been shorted to 9 weeks. This means the holidays will start at the end of this week and run through to the 15/4. In term 2 students will be provided with new maths, Chill and Literacy work to be completed online. Kia ora Parents/Caregivers   Firstly, thank you for your support with the cancelling of the GALA, I know some children had already bought items - hopefully we will be able to use these in some way throughout the year. As you are all aware we are going through an interesting time as a country, please know that our doors are always open, we want to support you and your children the best we can.  We have now stopped swimming as the temperature starts to decrease.   Below are some photos from our Triathlon on Tuesday... Kia ora Parents/Caregivers   Once again we have had a great week in Hōpara! This week we have been delving deep into our inquiry, with the focus particularly on "Change". We were lucky enough to have Alice's dad Sam join us on Monday to show us his extremely old traction engine which connected perfectly with our topic of "Transport over time".  Below are some photos of us asking Sam lots of questions...
