Kia ora e te Whānau  I hope your children have come home this week excited about their role in the upcoming production?! I know we are all excited for you to see it in action. Nick and myself have been sick over different days this week, we are lucky to have such an amazing class who behave for whoever is in front of them #grateful! As the next two week commences our core learning programme will get thinner due to the time frames we have, we are also mindful of not adding any extra stress to your children at this busy time!  Head-lice:  Let's keep on top of it until the end of the year with nightly checks - much appreciated Nick and Ashley  Sun Hats:  Could all parents please make sure their child has a blue bucket sunhat, the consequence now for not wearing a hat is sitting under the shade sail for the entire break time. We really want to encourage our tamariki to be "sun safe".  Dates to consider:  WEEK 8 -  Production Practices ALL Week! ...

We will be marking them every morning next week from 8:30am.  Save the date... Thursday 3rd December - PRODUCTION EVENING!  Head-lice:  There are a few head lice notices that still need to come back. Kia ora e te whānau  From our students.....Another week has flown by! The students this week have been working hard on their core learning. All students have been getting stuck in to learning some more language features  for poetry and working with fractions. Chill clubs are going great, the students are all delving into their club. There is great progress being made across the class! A special week in Hōpara this week as the students took on a leadership role and worked alongside Tūhura. They guided them with a coding task, which was amazing!   We all got started on production practice this week which is very exciting. Hōpara are spending the afternoons with their production group spread out across the school. They are helping the senior students to lead their groups and are setting fabulous example for the younger students. Head-lice  - There are a few head lice notices that still need to come back. In order for us to keep on top of it we need to know that Hōpara s...
