Week 6 Blog Post
Kia ora e te whānau
All I can say is PRODUCTION, PRODUCTION PRODUCTION! Our whole group practices are now well underway and props and costumes are beginning to trickle in! Hopefully your child has given you some idea of what they require. Core learning remains in the morning although we have had many interruptions this week which has hindered our time!! This time of the year is just so incredibly busy!! Agricultural club judging has begun, well done to those students who entered. Mr B and I look forward to visiting a few gardens next week!
Head-lice: There are a few head lice notices that still need to come back. In order for us to keep on top of it we need to know that Hōpara students have been checked.
Sun Hats: Could all parents please make sure their child has a blue bucket sunhat, the consequence now for not wearing a hat is sitting under the shade sail for the entire break time. We really want to encourage our tamariki to be "sun safe".
Dates to consider:
Before and after school conversations - If you would like to talk to us about your child's learning or wellbeing we would appreciate you emailing one of us to make a specific time - this would provide us with enough time to collate and prepare any data required.
