Hо̄para Week 5 Term 4 Blog Post

Kia ora e te whānau

Once again this week has just flown by! Our core learning is still a major focus as we draw closer to the end of the year (you should have been notified of a blog post today which contains Wk3-4 learning). Production is also now a huge focus, most days next week it will take place in the middle and end block to ensure we are ready for Week 7!

Pathways are due Thursday next week at the latest! We will be marking them every morning next week from 8:30am.

Save the date... Thursday 3rd December - PRODUCTION EVENING!

Head-lice: There are a few head lice notices that still need to come back. In order for us to keep on top of it we need to know that Hōpara students have been checked.

Sun Hats: Could all parents please make sure their child has a blue bucket sunhat, the consequence now for not wearing a hat is sitting under the shade sail for the entire break time. We really want to encourage our tamariki to be "sun safe".

Hōpara website https://sites.google.com/clarkville.school.nz/hopara-2020/home?authuser=0. This will be our "one stop shop" for group tasks/follow ups.

Please remember to comment and give feedback on your child's SEESAW

Before and after school conversations - If you would like to talk to us about your child's learning or wellbeing we would appreciate you emailing one of us to make a specific time - this would provide us with enough time to collate and prepare any data required.

Please bring your devices and headphones daily!

Note from Kathryn -
Please let Kathryn know if your child is absent by 9am. The quickest and easier way to do this is through the school app.

Ngā mihi nui
